Privacy notice

This is version 2.0 of privacy notice. The version that governs a signed engagement is the one in force on the day it was signed, and every acceptance is recorded against its exact text.

In this document "Nuub" means Nuub Limited (company number 12345678), registered office The Future Works, 2 Brunel Way, Slough, SL1 1FQ, United Kingdom, trading as Nuub.

These are business-to-business terms, governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are buying wholly or mainly outside a trade, business, craft or profession, contact Nuub before purchasing, because different rights apply.

This notice covers visitors to the website, people who submit an enquiry or an assessment, client contacts, executives in the network and applicants to it, and recipients of Nuub communications.

Identity and contact details, organisation and role, the content of enquiries, assessment answers, booking and session records, engagement and delivery records, invoicing and payment records, communications with Nuub, and technical data such as IP address and device information.

For executives: professional history, rates, availability, profile content, photographs, insurance and compliance evidence, and payout details.

Assessment answers may include commercial information about a business. Do not submit personal data about others that is not necessary for the engagement.

To provide services and perform a contract: delivery, bookings, engagements, invoicing and support.

For our legitimate interests: operating and improving the platform, matching executives to work, security, fraud prevention, business records and relevant business-to-business communications, balanced against the rights of the people involved.

For legal obligations: tax, accounting, statutory records and responding to lawful requests.

With consent, where consent is genuinely the basis: optional marketing, and any use that is not necessary for the service. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the service.

Nuub may record professional information about senior executives from public professional sources in order to approach them about network membership, relying on legitimate interests.

A profile is only published with recorded consent and evidence of acceptance of the network agreement, and it is withdrawn on request.

Executives assigned to an engagement, the platform and infrastructure providers listed as sub-processors, payment and accounting providers, email delivery providers, AI processing providers under contractual restrictions, and professional advisers, insurers and authorities where required.

Nuub does not sell personal data and does not share it for third-party marketing.

Where personal data is processed outside the UK, it is protected by adequacy regulations or by the UK international data transfer agreement or addendum.

Engagement and financial records are kept for the engagement plus seven years for professional and tax record-keeping. Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for two years. Assessment submissions are kept for three years. Marketing records are kept until consent is withdrawn, and suppression records are kept indefinitely so an opt-out can be honoured.

Access is restricted to those who need it, data is encrypted in transit, and access to client workspaces is scoped to the organisation.

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing at any time.

Requests go to the privacy contact named at the top of this notice, or through the data request form on the website. There is a right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Assessment scoring and executive matching are automated, but they produce a recommendation for a person to act on. No decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect is taken by automated means alone.

This notice is versioned. Material changes are notified before they take effect. A change to this notice is a notification, not a contractual acceptance, unless a genuinely new consent is needed for a new processing activity.
