Know what changed. Act on what matters.
A monthly check-in that shows how your position is moving and what deserves attention next. Five to seven minutes of your numbers, and a clear read on where the business now stands.
- £199 a month, no minimum term
- Five to seven minutes a month
- No integrations, no implementation project
- No executive time included
The problem
A snapshot ages. A business does not stand still.
A one-off diagnostic tells you where the business looks constrained on the day you took it. Three months later the order book has changed, the team has changed, and the picture you are still working from has not.
The questions that actually run a business are recurring ones: what changed since last month, did the constraint move, are the things we agreed to do actually working, and what deserves attention now?
What Pulse is
A monthly business-navigation check-in.
Each month you report a short set of signals and answer a few focused management questions. Pulse compares that with your own previous months, derives your Business Standing and trend from fixed rules, shows what moved materially, and carries three priorities you can actually act on. It measures you against your own history — not against other businesses.
What you do each month
- Update a small set of business signals from what you already track
- Answer a few focused management questions
- Say what happened to last month's priorities
- Submit
What Pulse does with it
- Compares this month with your own previous months
- Derives your Business Standing from fixed, versioned rules
- Derives your trend across the dimensions being tracked
- Shows the movement that is material, and ignores the noise
- Sets the three priorities for the month and tracks the ones still open
- Keeps your full Pulse history, month by month
How the rhythm works
Set a baseline once. Then a few minutes, every month.
01
Join
Your workspace opens with Pulse running. There is no onboarding project and nothing to install.
02
Set your baseline
Confirm your business type, the handful of signals you will report, and what you are trying to move. Pulse starts from a business baseline; where an existing relevant Constraint Check can be reused under the launch rules, it will be.
03
Complete your first Pulse
Enter the numbers you already keep and answer the month's questions. Estimates are fine, and anything you genuinely cannot get can be marked unavailable.
04
Receive your current view
Your Business Standing, trend, what moved and three priorities appear in your workspace as your Pulse brief.
05
Each month, update and submit
Report the same signals, answer that month's questions, and say what happened to last month's priorities.
06
See what moved
The new brief shows the movement against your own history, and the priorities reset around what matters now. The month is then locked, so your record stays honest.
The first month sets the baseline; every month after it is the short update. Most monthly updates are designed to take around five to seven minutes.
What you get
A short, honest management view — held month after month.
- A monthly Pulse brief in your workspace
- Business Standing and trend, stated plainly
- What changed since last month, and what it suggests
- Three priorities, tracked until they close
- Your full Pulse history, month by month
- Client workspace access and self-service subscription management
The human boundary
No consultant is involved each month, and that is the point.
Your monthly information is processed through Nuub's structured Pulse method. A Nuub executive does not review your Pulse each month, and £199 a month includes no executive time.
Where the evidence suggests deeper investigation would help, Pulse says so. It is equally capable of saying that nothing needs deeper attention this month — and it frequently will.
If you want a person to interpret what you are seeing, that is a separate, priced piece of work you choose. It never starts automatically.
An example Pulse
This is the whole output. Nothing longer, nothing vaguer.

Trend
Deteriorating
Primary constraint
Operations and delivery
What changed
- On-time delivery fell from 92% to 81%
- The order book grew 18% on last month
- Rework hours rose for the third month running
What this suggests
Demand is strengthening while delivery is absorbing the pressure. The constraint has moved from winning work to getting it out of the door.
Three priorities
- 1.Re-sequence the three largest open jobs against promised dates
- 2.Find the single stage where rework starts and put a check in front of it
- 3.Agree a realistic capacity ceiling before quoting the next two weeks
Nuub view
Keep this under review next month. Deeper investigation may be warranted if on-time delivery falls again.
What Pulse watches
The few numbers that actually move your business.
Signals are chosen for your sector and your business, not imposed as a fixed list. A manufacturer and a professional services firm do not track the same things.
Commercial and growth
Enquiries, work won, revenue, conversion
Cash and profitability
Gross margin, cash position, debtor days
Operations and delivery
On-time delivery, rework, backlog, lead time
People and capability
Headcount, utilisation, vacancies, turnover
Leadership and governance
Decisions carried, priorities closed, focus
Technology and AI
Systems friction, manual effort, adoption
What Pulse is not
No integration project. No dashboard rollout. No consultant each month.
Not a monthly consulting retainer
No executive time is included, and none is scheduled.
Not an audit
Pulse uses the information you report. It is a disciplined management signal, not a verified financial statement.
Not real-time monitoring
Pulse is monthly. It reads movement between months, not live activity.
Not connected to your systems
There is no integration at launch, and none is needed. Your numbers come from whatever you already keep.
Not a benchmark against other companies
Pulse compares your business with its own prior position.
Not specialist advice
Pulse does not replace professional financial, legal or tax advice.
Where Pulse sits
Navigate, understand, unlock, build — then navigate again.
Pulse is the navigation step, running continuously. It tells you when the picture has changed enough to be worth understanding properly, and it is equally willing to tell you that nothing needs deeper attention this month.
Constraint Check
Free
Where might the constraint be today?
A one-off, directional snapshot across six dimensions. Useful once; it does not track movement.
Nuub Pulse
£199 a month
What changed, and what deserves attention now?
A recurring monthly read on standing, movement and priorities. Structured, not consulted.
Advisory session
£495
What do I do about this specific thing?
A focused conversation with a senior operator when you want a person to interpret what you are seeing.
Executive Business Review
£3,950
Why is this happening, and what is the plan?
Deeper human investigation: interviews, evidence, the constraint sized in money, and a 90-day plan.
Pulse is not a monthly Constraint Check, and it is not a step on the way to anything. Deeper work happens only when you decide it is worth it.
