The Nuub Executive Network
Serious operating work, brought to you properly briefed.
A small, invited group of Chairs, NEDs, MDs and functional leaders — COO, CFO, CTO — who take appointments in founder-led UK businesses. Every client arrives with the problem already diagnosed and quantified, the scope written and the contract in place. You give judgement, not proposals.

Self-assessed by the executive, then reviewed and calibrated by Nuub. Levels are a calibration, not an independent audit of every claim.

How the relationship works
In the order it actually happens, from the first client to the first invoice
Nothing here is aspirational. Each of these is a working part of the platform you would be using from your first appointment.
- 01
The problem is named before you arrive
Every business completes the Constraint Assessment first. You receive the report, the constraint and what it is costing them — so the first conversation is about judgement, not discovery.
- 02
The room is held to a standard
Six checks before any profile is published: identity, track record, references, insurance, conflicts and capability. Profiles are withdrawn if the standard slips. The mark means something because we decline people.
- 03
You decide what you take
Appointments are offered with the assessment, the scope and the measures attached. Nothing is placed on you, and declining costs you nothing — now or later.
- 04
The administration is ours, not yours
Proposal, terms, e-signature, delivery reporting, invoicing and collection all run through the platform. Your week goes on the work.
- 05
The commercial terms are settled in advance
Your rate is yours to set and is recorded against the terms you signed. Expenses are reimbursed in full. There is no joining fee, and no exclusivity over your own practice.
The three ways an appointment arises
Different horizons, and we do not pretend they are one thing
Fractional appointments
Chair, NED, COO, CFO or CTO inside a founder-led business, typically one to three days a month or a week, on a rolling basis with notice on both sides.
Longer horizon and different commercials from delivery work: you keep the larger share, and it rises with tenure. The exact percentages are in the terms you see before signing.
Delivery work
A defined piece of work with a written scope and an end point — a review, a blueprint, a sprint or a programme drawn from the Nuub price list.
Usually days to weeks. You are matched to the constraint, not to a job title.
Businesses you introduce
If you bring a business yourself and they choose to contract through Nuub, that is registered against your name and the terms reflect it.
Clients you introduce carry the most favourable executive share on the network — published in full in the terms, before you sign anything.
What is verifiable today
The room as it actually stands, not as we would like to describe it
- Published executives
- 3
- Named, attributable and visible in full on the Network directory before you decide anything.
- Profiles currently featured
- 1
- Featuring is editorial, not a ranking. A profile appears above only where the executive has consented and a reviewed capability calibration exists. See every published executive.
- Executives in verification
- 2
- No profile is published until identity, track record, references, insurance, conflicts and capability have all been checked.
Every published executive on the Network. We publish no testimonial we cannot attribute to a named operator.
Joining
Four steps, and you are free to stop at any of them
The commercials
Clear economics before you commit to anything
You set your own day rate. The commercial basis of an appointment — the rate, the share, the notice and who pays what — is written down and in front of you before you decide whether to take it. Nothing is negotiated after you have started, and nothing is deducted for platform use, contracting, insurance administration or invoicing. You pay one agreed rate. There is no markup on top of the executive's day rate and no separate management fee — Nuub is paid out of the same fee you already see.
- No joining fee, at any stage, ever.
- No exclusivity. Your own clients and your own practice remain yours.
- Expenses reimbursed in full, at cost, with no share taken.
- Appointments are offered, never allocated. Declining costs you nothing.
The larger share of every appointment stays with you
On fractional, NED and retained appointments the executive share is the bigger half and rises with tenure. Share-billed delivery work starts at an even split and rises with tenure; productised work pays a published rate per executive day. Expenses are reimbursed to you in full. Every figure is published in writing before you sign anything — and you can see them right now.
Tell us who you are and the detail opens straight away: a worked example in money, the exact share by work type, how it moves with tenure, referral and two-seat rules. Signing in as a Network executive opens it automatically.
The questions you are actually asking
Answered from the terms in force, not from a brochure
- Does this conflict with my existing portfolio?
- There is no exclusivity of any kind. Your own clients, your own board seats and your own practice remain entirely yours. We ask only that work introduced to you through Nuub stays on the platform, where the contract, the cover and the terms apply.
- What is my contracting status?
- You are engaged as an independent operator through your own company or as a sole trader, not as an employee, and your appointment is contracted on written terms you have already seen and signed. Status and tax remain your own affair, and the contract says so plainly.
- Who owns the client relationship afterwards?
- The client is contracted with Nuub, and the relationship you build inside the appointment is yours to conduct as you see fit. Nothing prevents a client engaging you again through the platform, on the same recorded terms.
- What happens if an appointment ends early?
- Either side may bring an appointment to a close on the notice written into the terms. Days already worked are invoiced and paid in the ordinary run; nothing is clawed back and nothing is held against you when the next appointment is offered.
- What if it goes wrong in the room?
- You are not on your own. Scope, measures and reporting are held by us alongside you, and where a client escalates, we handle it with you rather than about you. Professional indemnity cover is verified before you are published.
- How much of my week does the administration take?
- Days are logged in a few seconds each, expenses are photographed and submitted, and invoicing, chasing and payment run without you. There is no timesheet ritual and no reporting pack to assemble.
An invitation
Four minutes to know whether this is worth your time
Ten questions on the level you have operated at, the capacity you have and the rate you work at. You receive a written view either way — where you would be matched, or plainly why not. Nothing is published, nothing is shared, and there is no joining fee at any point.
