The Verified standard

What the Verified mark actually means

Anyone can call themselves a fractional executive. The mark on a Nuub profile means six specific checks are complete and a named person here approved the profile.

The six checks

Every one of these is completed before a profile goes live

Identity and right to work

We confirm the person is who they say they are — most executives use their Companies House personal code, the same statutory check every UK director now holds. Where an executive has passed that check, an ID verified mark appears on their profile. Nuub keeps the outcome only: the method, the document type and expiry, and the date it was confirmed. No passport image, no selfie and no proof of address is ever stored by Nuub. No engagement contract can be issued naming an executive whose identity has not been verified.

Track record, evidenced

Every claimed outcome and prior role on a profile is reviewed against evidence. Anything that cannot be substantiated is removed before the profile is published.

Two client references

We speak to people who have actually been led by them — not a written reference, a conversation about how they behaved when it was difficult.

Method calibration

Each executive is scored across the six Constraint Assessment dimensions and calibrated on the Nuub Method, so a match is made on capability, not on availability.

Signed Network Agreement

Confidentiality, conduct, IP ownership and the published commercial split are all agreed in writing before any profile appears in the public network directory.

Reviewed while live

Profiles are re-checked when they change, delivery is tracked against agreed outcomes, and a profile is withdrawn if the standard slips.

What it does not mean

We would rather under-claim than oversell

  • It is not a guarantee of a commercial outcome. Nothing is.
  • It is not a ranking. Verified executives are not ordered by how much they pay us — they cannot pay us for placement.
  • It is not permanent. A profile is withdrawn if delivery or conduct falls below the standard.
  • It does not replace your own judgement. You meet the executive before anything is signed.

Why it matters to you

The bench is deliberately small

A marketplace optimises for the size of its list. We optimise for the odds that the one executive we put in front of you is right. That means we say no to most people who apply, and it means every profile you read has been through the same six gates.

If you want to test it, start with the free Constraint Assessment. We will only introduce an executive when the diagnosis says one is needed.

Next step

Start your free Constraint Assessment

The Nuub Constraint Assessment takes about twelve minutes and gives you a scored view of all six dimensions — Commercial & Growth, Operations & Delivery, Cash & Profitability, People & Capability, Leadership & Governance and Technology & AI. It is free, and there is no obligation to speak to us afterwards.
